Cancellation policy
Membership Cancellation Policy
Minimum commitment
Mystery Makers Scooper memberships require a minimum commitment of three consecutive monthly billing cycles.
The first payment is charged when the membership begins. The payment method provided at enrollment will then be charged automatically once per month for the following two required billing cycles.
Cancellation is unavailable until all three required payments have been successfully completed. A cancellation request, loss of access, suspension, nonuse of membership benefits, or removal of a public profile does not eliminate amounts still owed during the minimum commitment, except where required by law.
Renewal after the minimum commitment
After the third successful payment, the membership automatically continues on a month-to-month basis until canceled.
Members may cancel future renewals through their membership account or by contacting Mystery Makers using the contact information provided on the website. Cancellation requests must be completed before the next scheduled billing date to prevent that renewal charge.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, membership cancellation becomes effective at the end of the then-current paid billing period. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not reverse or refund a charge that has already been processed.
Refunds
Membership payments are nonrefundable once charged, including partial billing periods, unused membership time, unused benefits, or dissatisfaction with promotional results, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Failed or declined payments
Failed, declined, disputed, reversed, or otherwise unsuccessful payments do not count toward the three required billing cycles.
Mystery Makers may retry an unsuccessful payment and may suspend membership benefits, group access, promotional opportunities, and the member’s public profile while payment remains outstanding. Mystery Makers may cancel a membership for continued nonpayment without waiving any amounts owed under the initial three-month commitment, to the extent permitted by law.
Founding membership rate
A founding membership rate remains available only while the qualifying membership stays continuously active and in good standing.
If a founding membership is canceled, terminated for nonpayment, or otherwise becomes inactive, the founding rate is forfeited. If the former member later rejoins, the membership will be subject to the price and terms available at that time. The founding rate applies only to the membership price and does not guarantee the permanent availability of any specific feature or benefit.
Changes to membership benefits
Mystery Makers may add, remove, rename, replace, limit, or modify membership features and benefits as described in the applicable membership terms. When reasonably practicable, notice will be provided before a material change takes effect.
After completing the initial three-month commitment, a member who does not wish to continue under the updated benefits may cancel future renewals before the next scheduled billing date.
Legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
